Glass packages

Glass packages with selective glass have the best thermal insulation characteristics. Filling inside of the glass envolope with inert gas (argon, krypton), improves thermal insulation even further. Heat transfer is expressed as a heat transfer coefficient U  which refers to heat transfer through the surface of 1 sq.m when the difference between Kelvin or Celsius temperatures is 1 degree between different sides of the surface. The use of three-glass packages enables to achieve an extremely high level of insulation.

Maximum thermal effect is achieved using the following measures:

  • selective glass;
  • optimizatiom of the distance between the panes (16mm);
  • filling the space between the panes with inert gas (argon, krypton);
